This year marks 250 years since our country's founding on July 4, 1776. And in honor of the nation's semiquincentennial, KDKA-TV has embarked on a weekly series of stories that look to not only tell our nation's 250-year history but highlight "Pittsburgh's Path" in shaping the United States.
