U.S. Labor Secretary Marty Walsh said the president's Build Back Better plan is a job bill that will help this region.
Vice President Kamala Harris will visit Pittsburgh next week.
"Working people, labor unions, and those fighting every day for their shot at the middle class are the backbone of our economy and of this country," Walsh wrote in a tweet on Thursday.
