Woman Killed In Hit And Run Accident In Lawrence County
LAWRENCE COUNTY, Pa. (KDKA)-- A woman is hospitalized this morning after a hit and run accident in Taylor Township.
Police say the woman, identified as 19-year-old Alissa Jones of West Virginia, was getting out of a car parked along Center Avenue when she was struck by a commercial vehicle.
She was flown to a hospital in Youngstown, Ohio.
Authorities announced Wednesday that Jones had died.
