The driver of the truck crashed into the front of Bowser Collision in Murrysville. Crews have started pulling the tanker from the building. Half of the vehicle was stuck inside the building after the crash.

The driver of the water tanker appeared to be uninjured but was taken to a local hospital as a precaution. No employees at the collision center were injured.

Derek Severns, manager of Bowser Collision, was about 10 feet away when the crash took place. He described how loud it was.

"The ceiling started to fall," Severns said. "They broke some water lines, so water was spraying everywhere. It was just kind of a shock. It didn't really register what happened."

Murrysville Fire Chief Pat O'Mahony said the tanker barely nicked the structural support beams of the building. Just the office was impacted, not any customer cars.

O'Mahony said the driver lost control while coming down the highway. It's not clear why.

"It was an all-hands-on-deck response to a scene of this magnitude. We don't often have something this big, but we all came together and got the situation under control very quickly," O'Mahony said.

While crews work to fix up the building, Bowser plans to move appointments to its nearby dealership. It plans to contact customers about the situation in the coming days.
