W&J heads into today's game coming off of a 45-7 road win against Geneva College. Quarterback Jake Pugh, a Thomas Jefferson High School graduate passed for three touchdowns in the win, leading the Presidents to a 7-2 record on the season.
The Presidents' 7-2 record on the season has them sitting tied for third place with Case Western Reserve, who they beat head-to-head earlier this year. They sit behind Grove City and Carnegie Mellon, the two teams who W&J were unable to beat this season.
Waynesburg enters the game with a 2-7 record on the season, with one of those wins coming last week when they defeated Bethany College 35-26 on the road in West Virginia.
Yellow Jackets running back Zayne Cawley set a new school record in the win, rushing for 336 yards and four touchdowns on 41 carries.
