PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- It's a high school football rivalry night in the Mon Valley!
The Steel City High School Football Showcase game of the week is here with Thomas Jefferson Jaguars taking on the Belle Vernon Area Leopards.
Both teams have gotten off to an undefeated start with Thomas Jefferson looking to beat Belle Vernon on the road at James Weir Stadium live on KDKA+ and CBS News Pittsburgh!
These two Mon Valley rivals are always good for a tough battle, with the 4A and 3A powerhouse programs having each won PIAA state championships in recent years with Thomas Jefferson winning back-to-back in 2019 and 2020, while the Leopards are looking to defend their title from last season.
