Top 5 Kids Events At Family SnowBlast
Snow tubing, contests, great food, snowboarding and just cozying up to a fire… there is plenty of family-friendly fun to be had at this year's Family SnowBlast! The people at Hidden Valley Resort have offered up their top five events for kids in 2011!
Pizza Hut Digging for Dough Contest
Contestants have five minutes to find as many hidden items as possible in a huge pile of snow! Diggers are grouped into 8 years and under, 9 to 15 years and 16 years and up with the winners taking home some great prizes!
Family Obstacle Course
Families or groups of two will compete in this wacky and outrageous sports-themed obstacle course.
Pepsi Max Tubing Party and On-Cor / Redi-Serve Bonfire
Hidden Valley and Pepsi Max presents four nights of fun and prizes at the snow tubing park. Take your fun to the "Max" with a ton of fun - sliding down the tubing chutes, staying warm next to the bonfire and rubbing elbows with KDKA-TV personalities Rick Dayton, Jennifer Antkowiak, Jon Burnett, Jim Lokay and Heather Abraham!
Kids' Fun Challenge
Kids can ski or snowboard their way through an exciting course set up at the beginner area!
Family Life FunZone and FoodZone
Kids can take part in a number of awesome activities at the FunZone including games, crafts, tattoos, face painting, nail polish, Legos and more! The FoodZone offers families smoothies, cookie decorating and popcorn. All fees collected from the FunZone and FoodZone benefit the Children's Hospital Family Life Fund.
