Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger Returns To Sportsradio 93.7 The Fan

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger joined The Cook and Poni Show on Wednesday to announce that he will be returning to the show for his third straight season.

"I'm excited and I'm looking forward to it," Roethlisberger said. "I've enjoyed it the last two years. Hopefully, the fans and everyone else have enjoyed it, so we will give it another shot."

He will make his weekly appearance every Tuesday at 11 a.m. during the season starting in September.

Roethlisberger also told the guys that he is excited from what he has seen on the field during the first two weeks of OTAs. He told the guys that the offense looks like they never stopped from where they left off last year.

He says it is good to see so many familiar faces and he's happy to have a majority of the offense back, including wide receiver Antonio Brown, who was reported to be a hold out during these OTAs.

"No chance," Roethlisberger said. "I know AB, and I know that was going to bother him, especially when you heard and read all of the comments from the fans and media that kind of got on him a bit. That bothers him because he is a team guy and enjoys playing for the fans."

Roethlisberger also commented on receiver Martavis Bryant having all of the tools that Antonio Brown wishes he had, and he is the best player in the league. He thinks Bryant can do anything he sets his mind to.

Ben also talked to the guys about "DeflateGate" and his thoughts on Tom Brady's legacy and his upcoming golf tournament and Football Camp.
