Steelers Players Visit Andrew Fillipponi on The Fan
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Andrew was at Nakama on Tuesday, and several Steelers players joined him as The Fan and the Deshea Townsend Pay It Forward Foundation held a toy drive.
Isaac Redman was first up, and talked about his path to Bowie State and eventually the NFL. Isaac also fondly remembered his catch last season against the Ravens, and talked about his goals for the rest of the season.
Rookie tight end Weslye Saunders came on next, and talked about his famous friend as well as trying to push through the "rookie wall."
Finally, Steelers starting right tackle Marcus Gilbert talked about his major adjustment to Pittsburgh winters after growing up in Florida. Marcus also talked about his friendship with Maurkice Pouncey, and playing with Tim Tebow at Florida.
