President Of Mining Co. Honored In Capitol

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) -- The 33 miners who were rescued after 69 days of entrapment in a Chilean mine owe a great deal of thanks to Center Rock Inc., and its founder Brandon Fisher.  Fisher and his company took it upon themselves to look into possible solutions, upon learning about the mine disaster in Chile.  It was their labor, methodology and drill bits that played a key role in the rescue.  Brandon and his wife, Julie, are being honored by accompanying the First Lady at the State of the Union.

Brandon Fisher joined Rose and Paul on the KDKA Afternoon news to discuss his part in the rescue, as well as his plans to attend the State of the Union address.
