Police Investigating Stabbing In Rankin

RANKIN (KDKA)- Police are investigating an early-morning stabbing in Rankin.

Around 4 a.m., officers and paramedics were called to Hawkins Village for reports of a man who was stabbed.

The victim's mother says she was sleeping when she woke up and her son was standing over her, bleeding.

The victim had been stabbed at least four times. He was put inside an ambulance, but began tussling with paramedics and police. The victim had to be restrained inside the ambulance.

The victim's mother and another man at the scene were yelling at police at the scene. Extra officers had to be called in and the mother and man were escorted back inside their house.

A few minutes later, they came back outside and were looking inside the ambulance. The mother was yelling that police were using a Taser on her son. Both the mother and man were escorted from the scene again.

There is no word on where exactly the stabbing took place.
