After multiple attempts, crews were able to pull the car out of the pool. It was still dripping with water as it was towed away.
Police aren't sure how the driver of the car lost control and plowed through the white fence as he was traveling up Repp Road.
When the man crashed into the pool, police say he was fully submerged. Three Plum police officers jumped into action and pulled him out of the car within minutes. They said he was unconscious when he was taken to the hospital.
A woman was home sleeping when the car crashed into the pool. She said off camera that the family dog was whining, and when she looked outside, she saw the wreck.
She was shaken up, but not hurt.

Neighbors stood by watching as emergency crews were working. A passerby called 911 when she saw what had happened. A woman who has lived across the street for 20 years says people speed up and down Repp Road all the time.
"People are crazy going up and down this road, 50, 60 miles an hour," she said.

The speed limit is 25. However, police believe speed was not a factor. That neighbor went on to say that kids wait for the school bus at the corner of Carrie Ann Drive and Repp. It was their first day back to school in Plum, and thankfully, no one was outside when the crash happened.
"Thank God. Can you imagine," she said.
