Pittsburgh's Professional Esports Team Adds Rocket League Team
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh's professional esports team has picked up a Rocket League squad.
The Pittsburgh Knights added Jirair Papazian, Slate Thomas and Nick Costello as Rocket league players.
They'll play in the Rocket League Championship series.
The first match will stream Saturday on Twitch.
Rocket League is a popular video game with more than 57 million registered users.
The Knights also opened a video gaming zone at Heinz Field.
