Pittsburgh Casino License Winner, Don Barden, Has Died
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The man who won Pittsburgh's only casino license which led to the Rivers Casino has died.
Don Barden was a prominent businessman in Detroit.
A spokeswoman for the mayor of Detroit made the announcement on Thursday.
Barden was recently diagnosed with late-stage brain cancer, but his death is related to complications with lung cancer.
Barden was 67.
