Pirates' Andrew McCutchen Benched For Braves Series
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - After hitting .241 over the first 103 games of the season, the Pirates have decided to bench Andrew McCutchen for at least a few games.
Joining The FAN Morning Show, Pirates broadcaster Bob Walk said he was hearing rumors about McCutchen being sat down for this Braves series.

Tribune-Review Pirates beat writer Rob Biertempfel is also reporting that he has heard McCutchen will be sat.
Colin Dunlap wrote about this exact topic before it even happened and suggested that this might be the best course of action for the Pirates to take.
McCutchen is having by far the worst season of his professional career hitting just .241 with 15 home runs and 43 RBI.
