Pens Recall Tangradi From AHL
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pittsburgh Penguins have called up Eric Tangradi and he will be available for Tuesday's game against the New York Rangers.
According to the Penguins' official website, Tangradi was recalled from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Monday afternoon.
In 37 games with the Baby Penguins this season, Tangradi has recorded 31 points (15 goals, 16 assists).
This is not his first stint with the parent club this season as he has appeared in 12 games already.
During that time, he has failed to record a point and has a minus-5 rating with 12 penalty minutes.
The last game he played with the Penguins was a 4-3 win over the Washington Capitals on Jan. 22, where he was credited with four hits.
In 144 career games with the Baby Penguins, Tangradi has 50 goals and 53 assists.
At the NHL level, Tangradi has appeared in 28 games and has one goal and two assists.
