Man Found Dead In Car With Warning Note On Windshield

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A man was found dead early Saturday morning with a strange note nearby.

Just after 1 a.m., a man was found in a vehicle in the parking lot of a church on Kane Boulevard in Scott Township.

He was dead and there was a note on the windshield of the car warning of Hydrogen Sulfide.

Authorities have now confirmed that the man was 20-year-old Ryan Cummins of Dormont. He was reported missing Friday night.

Hydrogen Sulfide is a colorless, poisonous gas with a smell of rotten eggs.

The church nearby was also evacuated. And Hazmat crews were called to the scene.

As a result, emergency responders had their hands full diffusing the situation to reach Cummins.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office has ruled that Cummins took his own life; however, Allegheny County Police are investigating.
