Man Dies After Breaking Up Christmas Tree Farm Fight

WELLSVILLE, Pa. (AP) - A worker at a central Pennsylvania Christmas tree farm has died days after being injured breaking up a fight between two co-workers.

An autopsy was set Monday on the body of 69-year-old Juan Pozar-Felipe.

He was found unresponsive Sept. 10 at the living quarters for workers at Strathmeyer Christmas Trees in Warrington Township, York County.

State police believe he was hurt the night before when two other employees fought.

Those men, 39-year-old Pedro Felipe-Nolazco and his son, 23-year-old Cecilio Felipe-Vicente, fought before the victim tried to break it up and was knocked to the ground.

Pozar-Felipe was taken to York Hospital where he died Saturday night.

The father and son are charged with simple assault and other crimes. State police are investigating the death but haven't added more charges.
