Man Convicted Of Killing Infant Daughter Sentenced To 27-54 Years

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A man convicted of killing his infant daughter was sentenced Wednesday morning.

According to the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office, Lincoln Levys to 27 to 54 years in prison.

In October, Levys was found guilty of third-degree murder in the death of his 5-week-old daughter, Saige.

He was also found guilty of child abuse involving two other children.

An expert in forensic pathologist, who performed the autopsy on the baby, testified Saige died because of abusive trauma to her head, trunk and extremities, and pneumonia also contributed to her death. Also, at the time of her death, the infant had two broken bones and abrasions on her face and body.
