Ma Rainey's 'Black Bottom' Nominated For 9 NAACP Image Awards

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - A movie that was filmed in Pittsburgh has been nominated for nine NAACP Image Awards.
Ma Rainey's "Black Bottom" is based on a play written by August Wilson.
Among the nominations is one for Outstanding Motion Picture.
Black Bottom starred the late Chadwick Boseman in what ended up being his final role.
He earned two of the nominations.
