Latrobe Teen Killed In Car Crash
LATROBE (KDKA) – A Greater Latrobe Senior High School student was killed in a vehicle crash in Westmoreland County Wednesday night.
15-year-old Sarah David was in the backseat of a Chrysler Concorde being driven by 20-year-old Ryan Pape. Two other teens were also in the car.
Police say the driver lost control trying to make a turn when he lost control of the car, went off the side of the road, hit a post, and several trees before the car came to rest on its roof.
Police say no one in the car was wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
The three other people in the car were taken to Conemaugh Memorial Hospital.
Counselors were on hand to help grieving students today.
