Ike Taylor Weighs In On Richard Sherman's "Best Corner" Comment

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - With Seahawks Cornerback Richard Sherman referring to himself as "the best corner in the game," Steelers Cornerback Ike Taylor pointed out one flaw in Sherman's assessment.

Taylor talked with CBSSports.com's Pete Prisco and admits that Sherman's stats are amongst the best in the league, but adds that, "If you want to talk about being the best corner, you have to match up against the best receiver every game."

Taylor went on to say, "He's a good corner ... but to say he's the best corner, you've got to humble yourself just a little bit by saying that."

Taylor speaks from his own experience having shadowed the opposition's top receiver since the 2005 season and establishing a reputation for himself as one of the league's best cover Cornerbacks.

As for what the future holds for Taylor, there is some speculation that he could move to Safety to prolong his career, but as Scott Brown of ESPN.com reports, if he wants to make that move with the Steelers, he'll likely have to take a pay cut next year.
