Hundreds Show Up For Charity Soccer Match At CMU
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Hundreds of students showed up a for a charity soccer match at CMU Sunday.
The Pi Kappa Alpha Beta Sigma chapter at CMU hosted its fourth Matthew Tembo Memorial Soccer Tournament in honor of the former student.
Tembo died in 2010 of alcohol poisoning and was known during his time at CMU to love soccer.
Proceeds from the game will go to the Gateway Rehabilitation Center, which is a nonprofit that focuses on substance abuse and alcoholism.
