Hoke, Pouncey Recap The Steelers' Win

Pittsburgh (93-7 The FAN) - Jim Colony from the FAN Morning Show caught up with Steelers nose tackle Chris Hoke after the AFC Divisional win over the Ravens.

Angry after their performance in the first half of the game that left them down 21-7, Hoke said the Steelers came out of the locker room ready to play.

Defensively, the team gave up a long drive in the first half. Hoke said they knew they had to get the turnovers in their favor; and they did, with two in the second half.

Hoke thinks Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau and the defense finally got into the head of the Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, because he started to feel pressure and make incomplete passes.

Colony usually does his weekly chat with center Maurkice Pouncey later in the week but he caught up with him after the win.

Pouncey said the game was exactly what he expected from the Ravens.

The Steelers offensive line has been one of the weak spots this season for the Steelers, but Pouncey and the line had one goal in the second half when they were 3rd and goal.

Last week Pouncey talked about one of his superstitions before game. After the win over the Ravens, he told Colony they will do their weekly chat in same corner as last week.
