Girls Reportedly Approached By Flasher In Hempfield Twp.

HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Greensburg police are investigating reports of a flasher.

"I want people in the area to know that there's a pervert running around and I hope police catch him," Gary Gibson said.

His granddaughters, ages 12 and 13, got off a school bus around 3:30 p.m. in the Fort Allen section of Hempfield Township. They say a man in a dark-colored Saturn without a license plate drove up to them and exposed himself.

Gibson said he didn't know why anyone in their right mind would do something like this.

The 13-year-old told KDKA-TV the man didn't say anything, but was staring at her sister. After he exposed himself, he drove away. The 12-year-old described the incident as frightening.

The man is described as a white male with light brown or dirty blond hair.

The girls' parents told KDKA that police said another girl was approached by a man who exposed himself the same day.
