Essex Excited To Play In Super Bowl
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Steeler beat reporter Jon Burton caught up with Steelers guard Trai Essex after practice on Wednesday.
Essex said making it to the Super Bowl is an expectation within the Steelers' organization, but he and the players "don't take it for granted."
He is expecting a great event in Dallas, and knows Jerry Jones won't let the league or football fans down.
Also, with center Maurkice Pouncey going down in the AFC Championship, Essex says he gives coach Sean Kugler a lot of credit for preparing the line with "position flexibility."
He and his other teammates have full confidence in Doug Legursky if he has to start in place of Pouncey.
