PITTSBURGH (Sportsradio 93.7 The FAN), Pittsburgh-  The Tribune Review's Dejan Kovacevic joins Seibel, Starkey, and Miller on Sportsradio 93.7 The FAN from the All-Star festivities to talk about the events.

Kovacevic addressed the opinions of the Home Run Derby being "boring" saying however, in person, it is truly amazing to see how far some of the hits went.  He acknowledged the fact that there has been some heat for the MLB to change the current format due to the length of the event.

Kovacevic went on to say he personally would like to see more guys participate in the event as he did not feel the eight participants were truly the best home run hitters in the league.

He went on to talk about the Pirates saying no one has expected them to be where they are at this point.  Kovacevic says he even talked in the past about Neal Huntington being in over his head in the Majors, but gives him credit for the success at this point in the season.

Dejan Kovacevic ends the conversation talking about the upcoming trade deadline.  He said many of the people at the All-Star Game are soley focused on those events and the only people he had conversations with in regards to the trade deadline were with scouts.
