City Of Pittsburgh Distributes Thousands Of Meals To Children, Seniors Amid Coronavirus Pandemic
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The City of Pittsburgh continues to help those in need amid the Coronavirus pandemic.
This week, the Department of Parks and Recreation distributed 3,888 meals to vulnerable populations with the help of its partners. Senior citizens received 2,100 meals and children received 1,788 meals.
In total, the city has provided 55,975 total meals since the pandemic first hit the Pittsburgh area in March.
