Citiparks Has Distributed More Than Half A Million Total Meals To Children, Seniors Since Pandemic's Start

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The City of Pittsburgh's Parks and Recreation Department has reached a remarkable milestone.
Citiparks has now distributed more than half a million free meals since last March to children and seniors.
The department provided an estimated 423,600 to children and 100,000 to seniors, for a total of around 523,600.
Citiparks says this was made possible by volunteers and local partners.
