Charlie Morton Shines In Pirates' 2-0 Win Over Reds

PITTSBURGH (KDKA/AP) -- Despite the rain delay, the Pirates put together a win to put them atop the National League Central division on Monday night.

Charlie Morton allowed just three hits over five shutout innings at PNC Park as the Pirates beat the Cincinnati Reds, 2-0.

The Bucs now hold a half-game lead over Milwaukee.

Joel Hanrahan earned his 27th save.

Dontrelle Willis (0-1) pitched well in his second start since being called up from Triple-A Louisville. The former All-Star surrendered two runs in 4 2-3 innings, striking out five and walking just one.

The Pirates scored both of their runs in the fourth. The first came when Andrew McCutchen had an RBI. Matt Diaz then drove in Neil Walker on a sacrifice fly.
