August is National Sandwich Month. Time to celebrate the act of stuffing layers of tasty ingredients between slices of bread. Whether stuffed with chicken, capicola or schnitzel, there are many great places in Pittsburgh where you can enjoy a great sandwich. So, get your friends together and plan a couple of weekends to celebrate sandwiches by tasting your way through Pittsburgh.

With its original location in the strip district since 1933, Primanti Brothers put Pittsburgh on the sandwich map.
