Barbeque Sauce Dispute Lands Couple In Jail On Christmas
DENBO (KDKA) -- A domestic dispute over barbeque sauce landed a man and woman behind bars this Christmas holiday.
According to the Observer-Reporter, the couple – identified as William Balas and Tracy Giffin – is facing charges of simple assault and harrassment.
State Police say they got into a fight at their Denbo home just before midnight on Christmas Eve because she reportedly forgot to pick up barbecue sauce at the store on her way home.
Balas was bitten on the nose and hand during the incident, and Giffin suffered an eye injury after being hit, reports the Observer-Reporter.
Both were treated for their injuries.
They were arraigned and held in the Washington County Jail on $5,000 bond.
