Authorities Seek Suspect In Latrobe Bank Robbery

LATROBE (KDKA) -- Authorities are asking for help from the public in identifying the suspect who robbed a Westmoreland County bank last week.

The FBI, Westmoreland County District Attorney's Office and the Latrobe Police Department are investigating the robbery of the Citizens Bank on Ligonier Street in Latrobe.

The incident happened last Friday, Aug. 23 around 11 a.m.

Police say the suspect used a note and demanded cash from two tellers.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late-20s to early-30s. He had dirty blond hair, was around six-foot to six-foot-one and had a thin to medium build.

He was wearing a black, yellow and gray jacket, a Penn State baseball cap and jean shorts.
