Arrests Made In West End Drug Bust
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) --- Three arrests have been made in connection with a drug bust in the West End.
On September 1st, Zone 6 detectives began an investigation after numerous complaints and observations of drug activity and guns at a residence on McKnight Street in the West End.
Based on the array of complaints and gathered evidence, detectives were able to obtain and execute a search warrant where they discovered 24-year-old Shaymond Campbell, 33-year-old Philip Peterson and 28-year-old Kimberly Witherspoon.
All three suspects were detained while officers recovered 30 stamped bags of Cocaine, 4 bags of Marijuana, Crack Cocaine and pills.
Officers also recovered $7,810, indicia, cell phones, drug paraphernalia and ammunition.
A K-9 unit discovered narcotics in a Cadillac belonging to one of the residents of the home.
Inside the vehicle, officers recovered a large chuck of crack cocaine, 9-mm rounds and fifteen .45 caliber rounds of ammunition.
All three suspects were transported to the Allegheny County Jail and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance, Marijuana-- Possession of Small Amount, Possession with Intent to Deliver and Criminal Conspiracy.
