Accident Closes Westbound Lanes Of I-70
NORTH FRANKLIN (KDKA) – The westbound lanes of Interstate 70 in Washington County were closed because of an accident Monday morning.
According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, a tractor-trailer overturned between the Route 40 and Taylorstown exits around 4 a.m.
Fuel was reportedly leaking from the truck and traffic was being detoured to Route 40.
No one was injured and one lane was reopened shortly before 9 a.m. The other lane was reopened shortly before noon.
