Feb. 18, 2014: A 79-year-old woman reportedly pulled a gun on an unidentified man after he shoveled her driveway without asking permission and demanded money for his efforts. Police were called but no charges were filed.

Feb. 10, 2014: Sixty-four-year-old Richard Eckert was arrested for allegedly pointing his gun at self-employed snow plow driver John Abraham (pictured) in a dispute in Union Township, Pa. Eckert reportedly became angry when Abraham accidentally pushed snow into his yard.

Jan. 29, 2014: West Virginia Dept. of Transportation worker Thomas Henderson was arrested for allegedly driving a state snow plow while drunk. Sheriff's deputies said his blood alcohol level was 0.09.

Feb. 26, 2014: Police arrested 43-year-old Donald Young for allegedly stealing nine snow blowers, which police say were in plain sight on his back lawn when officers arrived at his house in Worcester, Mass.

Feb. 15, 2014: Douglas Haskell was arrested in Lakeville, Mass. for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after he allegedly hit a plow driver in the head with a snow shovel.

Snow plow driver chases alleged shoplifter

Feb. 13, 2014: Laura Barker was clearing snow at a Wal-Mart parking lot in Epping, N.H. when she saw an officer escorting a shoplifting suspect into a squad car. When the suspect tried to run, Barker followed in her snow plow, trying to block the suspect's vehicle, but lost the trail at a nearby intersection. The suspect was later arrested.

Who stole 80 tons of road salt?

Feb. 24, 2014: Somebody made off with 80 tons of road salt in the Chicago suburb of Naperville, apparently trucking it away from a private firm's storage shed. Police said the stolen salt - which would fill about 80 bathtubs - was valued at about $10,000 and would cover two to three salt applications.

Man helping woman move snow gropes her

Feb. 18, 2014: Police in southern New Jersey searched for a man they say started helping a woman clear snow off her parked car, but then tried to grab her and kiss her. Police say she screamed and pushed him off, and he fled the scene on foot.
