Trump administration restarting collections on defaulted federal student loans

After a five year pause related to the pandemic, the Trump administration is restarting collections on defaulted federal student loan payments. People who have missed payments for 270 days or more are at risk of having their federal or state benefits garnished, and starting this summer, could have part of their paychecks withheld.
