SEPTA aims to finish railcar repairs before end of the year as service ramps back up

SEPTA leaders say they hope to have around 200 railcars that were pulled from service for safety inspections back on the tracks by late December. Part of the nearly $220 million in capital funding allocated to SEPTA by Gov. Josh Shapiro on Monday will go toward maintaining the agency's fleet over the next decade.
