New exhibit in Philadelphia reframes United States' independence

The Historical Society of Pennsylvania unveiled an exhibit called The Changing Faces of Independence. The Center City exhibit tells a story of Pennsylvania through letters, pictures and records beginning in the 19th century, shaped by immigrant communities and free and formerly ensalved people.
