Misinformed: More than half of teens get news mainly from social media
A recent survey found more than half of teens got most of their news from social media, where it can be difficult to discern the facts from misinformation and disinformation. Tiktok and Instagram said they are working with fact checkers and fighting the spread of misinformation.
