FRA issues Emergency Order following NTSB urgent SEPTA safety recommendations
The feds told SEPTA that nearly ⅔ of the regional rail fleet is dangerous and should be pulled off the tracks.
The NTSB investigated the Silverliner IV trains after a series of fires.
Despite that recommendation, to pull all 225 cars, SEPTA says the regional rail trains will stay in service.
The Federal Railroad Administration just issued its own Emergency Order.
