Drug overdoses up in pregnant women, study finds

Newly released numbers show the nation's drug epidemic is impacting pregnant women at higher rates. Drug overdose deaths tripled in the 35 to 44 age group, according to a new study from the National Institutes of Health. The study suggests pregnant women may be avoiding substance treatment because of the stigma or fear of being penalized.
