Wednesday's Child: Nasir
By Larry Kane
Produced by Timothy McLaughlin
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Nasir is nine. But to listen to him talk, you'd think he's going on 39.
With a magnetic personality and an abundance of charm, Nasir gushes positive energy.
What does he think he'd bring to an adoptive family?
"Me!" he laughs.
And how does he describe himself?
"Me? Good luck charm."
He loves playing the piano and learning about Greek mythology. To say he's confident would be an understatement.
(Kane:) "How good are you on the computer?"
(Nasir:) "Very good. Like, very, very good."
And Gloria Hochman, from the National Adoption Center, based in Philadelphia, says Nasir would fit in with any family.
"Anyone seeing him would want to take him home immediately," Hochman tells KYW Newsradio. "He is really a terrific child who would add so much fun and so much enjoyment to any home."
