Voters React After Trump's Stunning Victory Over Clinton

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Voters are speaking out the morning after Donald Trump's stunning victory.

The vast majority of the polls leading up to Election Day predicted a Hillary Clinton victory, a win that would never happen.

A sense of disbelief was among many we spoke with.

Obama Congratulates Trump, Invites Him To White House

Rhonda from Chester County, identifies herself as an independent who voted for Hillary Clinton. She was a Republican most of her life and understands how the pollsters could have underestimated Trump's support. But she is having a hard time stomaching the final result.

"We need a President that can unite everybody and I just don't have confidence that Trump can do that."

Debra from Berlin, New Jersey says the election did not go the way she wanted it to, but she is at peace.

"I'm gonna be praying for Mr. Trump just like I would be praying for Hillary Clinton and like I prayed for President Obama."

She says offering prayers, no matter what party the winner belong to, is the right thing to do, the patriotic thing to do. And no matter what, her belief is the country will be just fine.
