Top Spots For Knitting In Philadelphia

Winter winds are a biting reminder of the need to keep warm when venturing outside. Layers of soft, warm fabrics are a must. For centuries, most clothes and outwear were fashioned in the home. While the earliest examples of knitted clothing come from the Middle East, eventually, the technique was introduced to Europe by Muslims working for Spanish royal families.

Today, the craft and art of knitting is a relaxing hobby pursued by both women and men throughout the country, and many people learn to knit by taking classes and joining knitting clubs. This is where to go in Philly to get the best lessons and find the most popular knitting communities.
