Thieves Target Habitat For Humanity Site In Gloucester County
GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ (CBS) -- Thieves have targeted a Habitat For Humanity construction site in Gloucester County.
Authorities say they stole $1,500 worth of tools used to build a house on Tanyard Road in West Deptford.
Officials say the thieves broke into a storage unit and took a chop saw, nail gun, and a compressor.
And this is not the first time a theft was committed on Tanyard Road.
On two other occasions, officials say $3,250 worth of tools were stolen from a site just up the street.
The house is intended for a young woman who served two tours in Afghanistan.
Habitat For Humanity is now beefing up security at the worksite.
Earlier this month, Habitat For Humanity Salem County became the victim of a theft when their tools were stolen from their construction site.
