Theismann On Bradford: 'All-Pro This Season, Write It Down'

By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- I feel like today should go down as the official Sam Bradford hype day.

Just hours after a new Bradford hype video went viral and Bovada LV released Bradford's prop bets for the upcoming season, two-time Pro Bowl and Super Bowl winning quarterback Joe Theismann revealed his lofty expectations for the new Eagles quarterback.

"Don't forget Sam threw 14 touchdowns and only four interceptions in the short period of time that he had to work in St. Louis a year ago," Theismann said Wednesday on 94WIP's Josh Innes Show. "He can do it. I say Sam's gonna be an All-Pro this year."

Excuse me? One more time?

"Write it down," Theismann affirmed. "If he stays healthy he's gonna be an All-Pro."

Is Bradford the best quarterback in the NFC East?

"I'd have to say at this point with the experience that he's had and you look at the performances, I'd have to say it's between he [Bradford] and Tony [Romo]," Theismann said. "And Tony was 8-8 in three previous years until last year, and Sam hasn't stayed healthy. I'd probably lead toward Tony at this point, but Sam certainly has the capability to do it."
