Suspect Shot In Attempted Robbery In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police say a man shot another man Sunday evening who was attempting to rob him.

This happened near Rockland and Front Streets in the city's Feltonville neighborhood.

According to police, the would-be robber tried to take the victim's personal items. That's when he shot the suspect multiple times in the legs.

The suspect was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

A gun was recovered at the scene.
