Suspect In SEPTA Sucker Punch Assault Turns Himself In
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The 16-year-old suspect caught on camera punching a 60-year-old man on a SEPTA platform has surrendered to police.
A surveillance video from Monday shows the victim was knocked unconscious at the 15th and Market Station.
Police say the altercation started when the victim accidentally stepped on a man's foot while trying to squeeze on to a Market-Frankford El train.
The victim suffered a broken jaw and received stitches to his face.
