"Standing Ovation" Opens, Highlighting Phila. Talent
The pre-teen musical Standing Ovation opens today in movie theatres. KYW's Steve Nikazy spoke with two of the people behind it.

The upbeat film is about a group of friends entering a national music video contest:
(from film:) "We're all going to have to make sacrifices..."
Producer James Brolin says it's a message of inspiration:
"I'd like to say that being creative, that we're helping to remodel the youth of America."
Director Stewart Raffill:
"It celebrates the kids of this area, Philadelphia and South Jersey. They're amazingly talented."
And it's fun to watch for local landmarks. Standing Ovation, in theatres now.
